I need to change out the swingarm bearings in my 94 RM250. Any pointers? Is the rear shock loaded when the rear wheel is off the ground? I'm assuming it is, so what is the easiest way to disconnect/reconnect the shock? Thanks!

It's usually no big deal to take your shock off. The best advice for you is to get a manual. But on the bikes Iv messed with I sit the bike up on a stand, I think you gotta take off your sub-frame and then take off the top bolt holding your shock on and let it all swing down...cake from there. Somone else may have better details or tips.

The shock is at full extension when the rear wheel is off the ground so you don't have to worry about it springing out on you.

If you are mechanically inclined it's a pretty straight forward job. There have been several posts on it if you need more help on getting the bearings out and back in.
