Rmz 250 F??

my friend has a 05' rmz 250 and i rode it over the weekend.. it absolutly rips.. he never rides so i know it doesnt have that many hours. he said he will sell it to me for 2200.. but i have been reading on here the 05 zuk's are junk. or should i just look at getting another type of bike? any thoughts???

hauser2169, i have heard lots of posts that that year or almost any year of RMZ250 is bad. Ask him how often he cleaned the airfilter and change the oil.

that is a swingin' deal, but I've not heard the most awesome things about the RMZ250.

i guess i could buy it ride it a little then flip it get and get some omeny out of it .. i do mostly motocross and traill. would a cr or yzf be a better or should i just keep the bike.. helppp

he said he changes the oil every 2 rides and also.. what is so wrong about the 05 250f

My friends race motocross at a high level (Nationals) and they ride RM-Z250S, the one is great but the other has gone through valves and rings like every other race and they are well looked after. So, you could get an awsome bike, or a pice of crap.
