I just received my wifes suspension back from IMOTO, MX-Tech's west coast suspension shop, she has a CRF250X and it was a little tall so we lowered it 1-1/2 inches, we have the bike all back together and it looks awsome and the seat height it perfect, the only question we have is now it seems that the suspension is a little hard, We told the Mechanic that she was a beginner trail rider and that was how it was setup.

What is the easiest way to take some of the stiff out of the bike?

It seems hard when you are riding it? Or just when you push up and down on the front end? "Feeling" the suspension when the bike is stationary is very deceiving.

Sag can be set for the rear by backing off the spring retainer back there and the front could have a lighter weight oil installed. I don't have a CRF but if the forks have spacers in them to set preload, you might be able to replace them with shorter ones so the preload isn't so stiff.
