Can anyone tell me the correct procedure for setting the SAG on my 01 KDX 200, does it really matter? I am 190 LBS and race MX.

Thanks,

There were instructions on MX-Tech's web page as well as WER's web page.

Set your sage between 90 and 95mm. Don't be afraid to play around with it, just one mm can make a difference.

MX-Tech's web page tells me what sag is, but they do not tell me how to adjust it for my bike and my weight. I have been told to lossen the lock ring on the shock and adjust the spring to get the correct sag?

Any assistance would be helpful.

It's as easy as 1-2

1. Completely unload the rear suspension and measure the height of the suspension (the rear of course.. say from the axle to some point on the fender @ 90º).

2. Measure that same point with you ON the bike..including all your gear (freestanding of course..not on the side stand or anything).

The difference is your sag. Adjust by moving the lockrings (loosen the lockring, turn the SHOCK to move the second ring).
