How do you save programs you want to keep before formatting a computer? I have a bunch of blank cd's and floppy disks but i dont know the correct way to save the programs.
If you still have the installation file for each program just burn them to a cd and then reinstall when you get the computer formatted. Other than that im not sure. Ohh by installation file i mean the file that you click on to start to install the program.
What programs are you talking about? Are you asking how to operate the CD writer? What programs would be on your computer besides ones you downloaded off the Internet or ones you already have the original discs for?
cr2504life: That would only work if a program only contained one file, and that is not how it works 99% of the time.
