I have an '02 CR80 and I want to give the engine and frame an added shine. I bought some Scotch Brite Steel Wool and I was wondering if that is safe to use on the engine and frame. Any other suggestions as to how to get an added shine on your bike are welcome. Thanks.

If no one knows about the Scotch Brite Steel Wool, then could you share any tips that you have to make your engine and frame look really good?

I use the maroon scotch pads. That is what the manuel recommends. I use it on the frame and engine, then finish off with mothers aluminum polish.

Spray WD-40 on the parts, then use the scotch-brite, then wipe off. If you want a better shine afterwards, use regular steel wool, or metal polish works well too.
