I put a new scotts upper triple clamp and bar mounts on with a sub mounted scotts damper. I have pro taper bars and the scotts mounts under the bars. My question is ..... does the anti vibration isolators actually work if they are torqued to the recommended 25-28 lb-ft? The bar clamps and the triple clamp go metal to metal after you torque down the nuts for the clamp and I was wondering if anyone thought these worked for them.
