Public Invited to Comment on OHV Grants
SHASTA LAKE (March 17, 2004) – The Shasta-Trinity National Forest and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Redding Field Office invite the public to comment on draft applications for the 2004-2005 Off-Highway Vehicle grants funded by the California State Parks. Grant applications will provide for the development, management, and operation of the Chappie-Shasta OHV Area and trails west of French Gulch.

The public is welcome to submit suggestions and comments on the grant applications at an Open House to be held Wednesday, March 31, at the BLM Redding Field Office at 355 Hemsted Drive, Redding, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The public also has until April 7th to send written comments to the BLM representative Sky Zaffarano at 355 Hemsted Drive, Redding, Calif. 96002, or to the Forest Service representative, Cheryl Adcock at 14225 Holiday Road, Redding, Calif. 96003.
