When building up a shim stack could 4 .15x 24 shims be substituted for 6 .10x 24 shims without affecting the damping curve? The total thickness is the same, so if using less/ thicker shims to substitute changes the damping which direction does it move ( firmer/ softer)? Regards, Michael.

I believe 3 .10 shims equals 1 .15 shim - I've seen the math posted on this site before.

.1mm = 1
.15mm = 3.4
.2mm = 8
.25mm = 15.6
.30mm = 27

These are co-efficiant values
