Shipping a Cylinder

I'm shipping a Cylinder to Eric Gorr. Any suggestions on how to pack it? I was thinking about packing it in newspaper in a cardboard box. Anybody have a better suggestion?

I wrapped mine in about 4 or 5 layers of the large bubble wrap and put it in a cardboard box. I think they could have dropped it out of an airplane and it would have been fine.

Good idea. I'll get some today and pack the box with the bubble wrap and newspaper.

Double box it. Small box with the cylinder inside a larger box surrounded by foam peanuts, newspaper, etc...

make sure that you insure it. Would cost pennies compared to a new one.

I insured mine for $700 and it didn't cost much. Between the cylinder, powervalves, covers, etc. it can add up:eek:
