I have an '03 KDX200 and I'm trying to dial in the suspension. I know I need to have the fork springs replaced, and I'm considering my rear suspension now.

I tried to set the race sag on my bike to the 95-105mm I've read about, but even after cranking down on the adjusting nut 3 turns from the stock position (compressing the shock), the best I can do is 120mm of race sag. I weigh 210lbs and I had 15lbs of weights on the bike to simulate all my riding gear.

I think there is a 5.0kg/mm spring on my bike right now...do I need a 5.2kg/mm spring?

Thanks!

You will need to go a little more than the 5.2 With the stk fork springs at .37 you better go up on them at the same time. Depending on what your doing with the bike I would try something like 5.6-5.8 on the rear and .42-.46 up frt.
