I have '96 CR250 that noticeably smokes and drips oil out of the joint between the pipe and silencer. What are the usual culprits and solutions for running "too rich" if that's what it is? I'd rather be roostin' folks than the fool laying down a smokescreen out of a bad spy movie this weekend. Otherwise the bike is in great shape and almost too fast for me as I am novice with two strokes and motocross after mostly trailriding XR's. Thanks for any input.

P.S. I'm running 32:1 ratio.

mostly carb settings, is the bike smoking on the bottom end throttle, or the top or the mid? Usally going to a leaner main jet and moving the needle works pretty good. sometimes you may tinker with the slow jet. But the bike should run fine on 32:1 however what kind of oil are you running?
Give me a bit more info and Ill be glad to be of more assistance:D

It seems to smoke pretty well throughout the throttle range yet maybe a little less at the end yet it could be just pushing more air. The oil is Yamalube semi synthetic 2-R.
