Hi

Recently purchased a second-hand Kawasaki KDX 125, 1996 model. Was running quite well but now smokes really heavily even when warm, looks more like water vapour than smoke. Have also noticed a bit of oil in the radiator. The bike still seems to run ok. Could it be the head gasket? any other ideas? Many thanks.

Cheers

Definatly souds like a head gasket if its belching steam out of the exhaust and theres oil in the radiator! get that fixed before you run out of coolant on a ride and toast the engine, head gaskets on these things arent a hard thing to replace.

KDX 125 hey?! We dont have those models on this side of the pond, how does that thing go?

Thanks for the reply. I'll be sure to check that out. Yeah its not a bad bike, pretty quick its quite big for a 125 and a little heavy so she doesn't handle ever so well. Thanks again.
