He'd been pretty quiet lately, anyway. In his prime, he'd have provided us with plenty of entertainment, all on his own! :nod:

Precisely why I asked this question.

Somebody at RacerX (?) therorized that James may have bought L.B. out. (He was the "L" in L & M Racing!)

I'm thinking he "took the money and ran."

Listening to him defend & stick up for James and Chad over the years has been quite entertaining, though. I always thought that he was trying to share some of the spotlight with his riders. Most team managers, (like R.D.,) are too busy doing their job of giving his riders all of the tools & support they need without seeking out the press.

Oh yes, without a doubt! Larry in his prime would have been happy to give the lovely Erin an earful pontificating on how "something need to be done to 'protect' Bubbles from the harm others try to inflict on this poor, innocent guy, who is just trying to do his job the best he can," or something like this.

Yup, I missed him alright!
