Found – A flat white object that I bent in half and stuck in the back of my little Festiva.
Found – A set of “forcepts” – yea,,, they have plastic handles and stainless arms – no babies attached…
Found – A BIG soup spoon with Chili still on it.. Wait a minute, I just licked the Chili off and it tasted pretty familiar – yea,, it’s the same stuff from our ride yesterday so I am pretty sure it was Chili and it may belong to that GREAT chef “Sandman”.. Anyway there it doesn’t taste like there was anything poisoness here..
Lost – Full attention at the riders meeting when I was trying to orientate all the riders per Woodsy’s Woodsy directions so no one would get lost..
Lost – over 25 riders who were SUPPOSE to be following me when I turned on the gravel road to make a parade lap thru the lot!! All this within 30 seconds of having left the parking lot to start the ride – GOOD GREIF!!! Hmmmmmmmmmm, seems like a few riders could have LISTENED better during the RIDERS MEETING!! JUST FOLLOW THE LEADER GUYS – ITS THAT EASY!!!!!!!
Found – a REALLY brave rider who insisted that we pull on his obviously broken finger (like they used to do in the old Cowboy shows) so he could keep riding!
Lost – any sense of humor about his offer!!
Found – A rider on the back of his bike riding behind me back to the parking lot to go for medical help..
Lost – My KX500 somewhere near Horseshoe Lake riding area – believed to be on the East side of the Lake according to Woodsy’s Woodsy Internal Compass
Lost (maybe) – the sandwich that I am sure I felt in Matt’s pocket while riding on the back of his KTM while trying to find my lost bike.
Found – a group of 3 of our riders on the side of a two track that waved back at me while I was riding double with Matt on his KTM..
Lost – A sense of sobriety that ANY of those same riders had before they saw Matt and I riding double – REALLY, it wasn’t THAT funny!!!
Found – another set of 5 more riders about a mile away from the previous 3 that I had originally spotted.
Found – Those 5 riders also had an obvious return of their sense of humor too!
Found – my faith in my fellow riders that I am not the only one capable of riding thru TIGHT single track with someone on the back “steering” with his legs while I am FIGHTING to steer with my arms!!!
Lost – the rest of our SOW riders that weren’t along the “parade route” watching Matt and I..
Found – Three more riders coming out of the woods as we were going in..
Lost – that same 3 riders – they turned and followed us..
FOUND – my bike was right where I left it and nothing missing!!!
Lost – LOTS of trail speed after I started riding my own bike again!! I asked Matt if I could just ride with him the rest of the day – MUCH FASTER!! He declined!!
Lost – my ego – realizing that Matt could ride faster then me even with 2 people on his bike!
Found – LOTS of GREAT trails – to bad there was only 4 of us out of the original 29 riders who had started the ride!!!
Found – the rest of the group at the trail head eating lunch!!!
Found – EVERYONE anxious to get back to the ride after eating lunch!!!
Lost – over half the riders who didn’t understand me when I said that we were going to go ride the GOOD STUFF on the Holton loop..
Found – they “Found” out to late that what I meant to say was we were going to go do that special stuff AFTER I went back and to the other east side and rode some more good stuff near Horse Shoe Lake!
Found – Chris Hubers ANGER with me that has been missing for a LONG time now!!! He almost just gave up and went home until I told him he could lead for a while!! That Chris is soooo funny!!!!
Lost – another rider to a Medical situation!
Lost – 24 of our riders while we were helping the sick rider..
Found – 24 of our riders we had lost in the above statement!
Lost – 24 of our riders we had found in the above statement!
Lost – ANY respect that I had for Chris’s leadership ability in his own back yard!!! Sheeeeeeshhhhh, I am going to have to get together with him before next years ride to make sure he has a clue!!
Found – an apology for Mr. Huber – I found out later that CrazyTrails had been leading the group all over creation!! Atta boy Crazzzzzzz – you can sure screw things up when you want to!!!
Found – A HUGE grin on YT2’s face when Craz came back to tell us that they were gonna be “over there” and then ripppppped off down the trail!!!!!
Found – a HUGE liking for Gary’s new bike!!
Found – an EMT specialist to ride back in Teds Van with us – had to put his shoes on first though – I think it was because he ATE to much,,, MEAN GREEN EATIN MACHINE THAT MARZEC BOY IS!!!
Found – my KX500 coming back toward me without me on it!!! Hey Gary – ya looked GREAT on the K5!!!
Found – KTMMike and CR250Mike sitting at the corner about ½ mile from the Trail Head where we had just left…
Lost – BJ
Found – BJ
Found – 2 more riders willing to go on with us to look for Huby and gang because now they knew that BJ was back at the trail head looking for them..
Found – Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to many whoops for KTMMike and Myself!!!
Found – Two riders from Chicago who informed us that Huby had abandoned the Crew and gone home and that now Crazzzzzz was leading the pack.. They were trying to find their way out and needed someone to lead them --- apparently they had not learned Woodsy’s Number One Rule when confused - put the sun on your right shoulder and keep it there!!
Lost – The trail head…. Hmmmmmmmm,, and I WAS keeping the sun on my right shoulder…
Found – Badgerman’s ability to lead!! SANDBAGGER!!
Found – the reason that “BADGERMAN” is called “BADGERMAN”!!!
Found – Larry and group back at trail head..
Lost – Larry P’s ability to rationalize why he should go back out in the woods one more time.. Said he had to go home that he had some important business to do.
Found – An inquiry as to where good food could be found near Whitehall – perpetrators were Curtis and Douglas from Chicago..
Found – UTTER MIRTH when I showed everyone what Larry P really is made of simply by yelling across the parking lot – HEY LARRY WANNA GO GET SOME DINNER… His response – WE COULD DO THAT said it all!!
Lost – Larry and Curtis turned the WRONG way on the road leading to the restaurant – THE RACE WAS ON!!!
Found – Larry and Curtis AFTER we had already arrived at the restaurant – WE WON – SUCKERS!!!!
Found – me sitting between Trevor and Aaron at dinner.
Lost – MY SANITY from sitting next to those two yaaahooooooss!!
Found – GREAT fish sandwiches WITH ordinary patato chips if that’s what you want… Right Ted?
Found – Larry left his lights on and I went out to shut them off for him..
Found – it appeared that my cup was moved when I got back..
Lost – sense of humor about cupped looking like it was moved and Crazz had a funny look on his face..
Almost lost – my 20 dollar bill…. Fast Craz not fast enough…..
Lost – Ted and I got lost leaving the parking area toward my house and I had to locate our postion using ONLY the stars – sun had longggg ago went down..

Lost – that same strange yahooooo was longggggg gone when I got up at noon this morning!!!
Lost - ANYONE who didnt show up LOST a real good chance to have more great laughs and meet some really GREAT new friends!!

The only reason that I had to get my shoes was because I have a medical condiction that doesn't allow me to feel my legs/feet, and I knew that I might get to ride the 200 back to camp; which in turn would be some-what hard to do in nothing but my socks.

Sorry Aaron - I was just picking on ya..... Sometimes I get a little carried away................ Sometimes ya gotta just nock me down and bury me in leaves like Ted does!!
That goes for all the rest of you guys too...
Hey Aaron - THANKS for being there and being willing to go to the scene in a "Professional Capacity" and for coming over and riding - it was GREAT to see you again!! Tell your Dad the same and that I look forward to doing it again REAL soon!! What a hoot!! :aj:

No offense was taken. I wonder what you would look like getting baried with leaves by a 200xc-w spinning rear wheel? I guess we will just have to wait and see...

I would like to put in a claim for my sanity, which has been lost since joining your escapades. Try to return that.

Why do you think you lost there attention??? They pretty much knew that if they were riding with you they were getting lost anyways :nener: .

Woodsy I had a few supprises up my sleeve for you. But I wasn't able to get up there last week to plant my Woodsy traps. At least you had Huby there to terrorise you all day. I loved how he ditched the crew and left Crazy to get them outta the woods.

Well I ended up spending my Saturday at a Wedding and then at the reception where I proceded to eat too much, drink too much draft beer, and get out on the dance floor and do the YZ shuffle (I bet Arron dont know that one :) )

Oh man did I feel like poo poo Sunday morning. Head was a throbbin. Had a big pancake breakfast and a pot of coffie then realized a few hours latter that was a bad idea as the world started spinning. Man I am getting too old to party like that :rotfl:

I think it has something to do with one dirtbiker with absolutely no rythm. Add in a fair amount of frosty beverage. Then multipli it with a dance floor full of frisky single women and............Well you get the idea :)

I'm ready for another ride. It was my friend Luke that broke his finger and was trying to get someone to pull it. AND that was on the kiddy loop. He's not joining us for a little bit though, something about hand specialist and surgery. :bang:

Searching for my lost bike at Twisty? no no no no no no - I KNOW - you left it on your plate at renies....
Anyway,,, ya might wanna check with a couple other "questionalble" types that you hang with too... It is POSSIBLE that one of those yahoooss actually STOLE it from you!!!! :ahhh:

You might want to re-think that Mr. YZman. Have you ever seen the Movie Shallow Hal? Alcohol works like that...

Curtis - You didn't see the board because it was in the east and you followed Larry west. While you guys were getting gas and money, we had showers and took in a movie. For those who weren't there, this is called the Parking Lot Routine.
Woodsy - Do you honestly believe you can find that spot again? Remember how much trouble you had trying to locate the trail trap you set for me at Holton?
