Spark Arrestor for a KTM 50 Senior Adventure

A friend's son has an 02 or 03 50 senior adventure and cannot find a spark arrestor for it. It is a neccessity here in California. KTM says they do not make them. Anybody have any ideas as to if any other models/makes will crossover ( like a kx60/65). Any help is greatly appreciated.

Bob built the exhaust for my bike and a spark arrestor was an option so they might be able to just do an USFS approved inster for ya'.

trod on over to www.ktmtalk.com there is a section for just 50's. They have dealt with this before but I didn't pay attention cause it was ktm stuff..

You can get one from FMF, a Turbine Core. It fits the Pro and Adventure Sr models, and will fit Jr models with some welding. They retail for $99, and I swear my son's Pro Jr is louder with the Turbine Core than the stock one.

You can also use a Cobra Sparky slip-on, but you'll need to modify the stock silencer cap.

Pro Circuit is supposed to be making something soon, but nothing yet that I'm aware of.
