Can you remove the spark plug on this bike without removing the gas tank? Is there a special spark plug tool? I've owned a lot of Hondas but this is my first KTM and I feel like a newbie...

You should be able to get it with a 21mm or 13/16in wrench. I use a combination wrench.

KTM does have a tool kit that came with the bike, with a plug wrench.

easiest way is with the motion pro ratcheting plug wrench. still tight but much better & entirely doable.

It's a cinch when you have the wrench that comes in the KTM tool kit.

Now getting the cap back on the plug after you reinstall it is another story!

I bought my bike used and it didn't come with any of the OEM wrenches. I will try the Motion Pro wrench. Thanks for the replies.

The link to that site is going to cost me a whole lot more than $22.99... they have a lot of nice tools! :)

Yep, and then the temptation never ends as you end up on their monthly e-mail distribution list after you place your first order.
