I have a2000 yz250 I have been riding all year, new top end in March and it has been running well. I run mobil 1 @ 32:1 and have had no spooge until the last 3 rides, the only thing that has changed is I repacked the silencer. could this have changed the jetting that much?

Do you race, ride trails, or a bit of both? I'm mostly trail riding with a little mx in between and I'm running 40:1 with my main jet sized down on step and my pilots the same. I haven't had any issues with spooging with that set up, but I also don't know what elevation differences you have from here in Oklahoma.

Are you running pump gas? If so, they reformulate pump gas about four times a year to compensate for seasonal (weather) changes. This is something that Eric mentioned to me recently, so maybe this has something to do with it?

Gas is not what it used to be! :whoa:

We had some trouble last winter. The oil seemed to be seperating form the gas. :coocoo: Never had that issue before. Later in the spring, it stopped happening.
