Spring Rate Help!

I've been playing with the MX-Tech and "other" spring rate generaters and my size and type riding puts me right in the middle between a .46/5.2 and a .48/5.4 fork/shock combo. I'm an O/T and race motocross rather slowly, I have to choose one way or the other, so would I be better off going with the stiffer or softer combo? (To bad there's not a .47/5.3, lol.)

Go softer if you're ever going to : 1 get older, 2. ride trails

you can mix and match fork springs.
.48 + .46 = .47 spring rate

Dont obsess about spring rates-even the good ones vary by 5% to the quoted rates, i would go for the softer ones.

I would try the Softer spring and if needed use a bit more preload .

Thanks guys, I was kinda "up in the air" as it where, but now I think I'll try the softer ones and add preload if needed. Thanks again!
