My stock suspension is way too stiff. I weigh 175 w/o gear and mainly trail ride w/ occasional jumping. Stk 450 spring rates are frk=.47 shk=5.5 MX tech recommended rates for 175# is .4165 / 5.0 for enduro and .4365 / 5.2 for MX. a friend with an 02 CR250 wants to trade me his stock springs which are .45 / 4.9. Would the 250 springs work for me? I understand that the frt & rear need to be balanced but ratio of the 250 springs (softer frt, stiffer rear) to the MX tech recommendations seem way off? Any insight? Thanks
