Sprocket and chain brands-which ones should be avoided?

I'm trying to find new sprockets and chain for my 83 RM250 on e-bay. Are there any brands that I should avoid? I don't care very much about performance, but I DO want something that will last a long time.

I found a new RK-M chain, non o-ring, is this a good brand?

How about a PBI Pro Only steel countershaft (front) sprocket?

A Sunstar aluminum rear sprocket?

PBI is a quality brand countershaft sprocket.

Sunstar also has a good product.

The "M" designator on RK chain means it was manufactured in Malaysia. This chain is lacking on quality control as the tolerances are not held to acceptable standards. Stay away from it.

Is e-bay your best source for searching for these items???

I'm kinda stuck with e-bay because I can find stuff cheap. I can't afford to buy stuff from the dealer.

Thanks for the help :)

The only steel rear sprocket I've seen on E-bay had 48 teeth. I need at least 50 teeth, and I haven't seen another one since

Well I won both auctions, got the PBI for $10.01 and the Sunstar for $12.50. They haven't arrived yet though. Now I just need to find a chain.

I had a difficult time pressing master link together on my Tsubaki gold chain. Never had that trouble before with DID ERT or Renthal R1.
