Sprocket/Chain options for my RM250

Mangled a chain yesterday and tore the teeth off of my front sprocket. I ride a 2000 RM250. The 99-00 RM's had the oddball gearing of 13/48. Looks like 01-05 has the 13/50 gearing. When looking around they tend to sell sprockets/chains for specific years. I'm assuming this is for the holes to line up for the sprocket bolts. I'd like to just go with the 13/50 setup with the right size chain. If I simply buy one that fits a 01-05 will it work? Or are the holes off?

the holes will line up fine- the difference in the partnumbers is the tooth count between 00's and others. looking at oem for the 01 type n its the same as the 00.
