i need to get a new sprocket, what size do i get? im guessing the 48-52 option is the teeth. do i need to see what kind i have and get the same one or what one is best if i can pick any?
If I recall the 2000 had a 49 tooth rear sprocket. If you'd like a little more grunt on the low end then get a 50 or 51, if you don't have any complaints with the current performance get another 49. Also keep in mind you should replace both sprockets and the chain as a set or you may be throwing your money away by destroying a brand new rear sprocket with a worn chain.
