Jus got a 2001 CR125 out of storage. the bike was untouched under a cover for the past 2 years. Prior to beenin put into storage he had put a new top end an yes he did break it in. The bike is awesome magura clutch, FMF shortie an SST, MAXXIS tires, Rental Sprockets, V-Force Reeds, Rental bars, etc. well the chain was rusted out compeletly it kinked an so on well im goin to change the sprockets an put an new chain on it. What # of teeth should i put on the front an rear i would like to go a little higher as in more top end i didnt no if the bike could handle that w/ all the after market parts any info would help.

Why do people tell us what kind of handlebars their bike has and then ask what kind of sprockets to use?

How much faster do you want to go? If it's almost where you want it, start by going up a tooth in the front or down 2-3 in the rear. Don't get too crazy with the gearing or that 125 motor will have a hard time pulling you around.
