I cleaned my bike with a new degreaser
and my new rear brakes are squeeking.
I sanded them down a bit but they still squeek.
Its been 4 wks now still sqeeking so I took brake off again and sanded them down and notices metal burrs on the outer circumfrance edge of the brake pads, so I sanded the brake pad edges and rounded the edges with sand paper. Then I took a scotch bright pad and buffed the roter.

No more squeaky brakes. I think the degreaser wore away the brake material, leaving metal burrs which caused the sqeaking. All fixed now.

Thanks

Degreaser doesn't dissolve brake pad material, it disolves grease. It might be possible to soak the pads with enough brake cleaner to clear the degreaser out but I wouldn't bank on it. A glazed rotor sure could cause noise so maybe you fixed the original issue which was the rotor.
