I'm seeking any information about a riding area near State College P.A. I'll be in the area March 30 and would like to check it out if possible. thanks

I've been on p.a.t.r.a.'s "Seven Mountains" dual-sport ride before.
Am not sure when they are holding it this year, but if you get the chance, go for it!
It's a BLAST! :D

PS: Make sure your bike is set up for rocky terrain though..... :eek:

I checked it out and there is also a dirt only loop called Shade mountain outside of Mcalisterville.I will try to ride it Saturday and get back with you . Thanks

P.S. I don't have a dual-sport but thanks for the info., On any Sunday.
P.S.S. thanks for the scoope onthe rocks. Being from Ohio I tend to forget about them.

Shade Mountain is over 1 hour from State College but if you have time try it. Follow 322 to Lewistown and then take 522 towards Selinsgrove. Stay on 522 for 15 to 20 miles and make a right on to 235. As soon as you brake over the top look for the parking lot on the left. I hope you like rocks!
