Hodaka must have sold their engines to several different companies.
I bought a little 100cc dirtbike a whiles back for my ex-wife to learn on.
Thought it WAS a Hodaka, then found it was a bike called a Kami.
I guess they had both mx & dualsport versions of this bike.
Cant find anything on the internet about them, but i know i have an old road (offroad??) test of one in an old "Minicycle Monthly" mag out in the shed.
Will try to dig it up, scan it and post it.

Here's one:

Steen was a company that specialized in smaller-sized custom racing frames; sort of a modern-day Rickman. (If you can call the '70s modern.) They could be ordered with a multitude of different motors thru 'whatever' dealer. I had two of them when I started flattracking as a teen. The first was with a Hodaka 100cc motor; and the second had an XL250 motor. They were basically a smaller version of the Champion and Trackmaster frames of the day.
