I did a search here at DRN and found someone with a similar issue, its the wheel in my 2000 rm 125 throttle assembly. Sometimes the cable is coming off the wheel and causing my throttle to stick closed. No crashes yet but a very dangerous problem. My dealer just told me about the recall a few years back for a similar issue on Yamaha he thought. I was told there is no aftermarket part for this so is there another issue I need to look at?
Plastic everything is so great :coocoo:

I'm going to pretend you didn't just repost my question and ask what the question was.

To try and be more clear for all, is there an after-market solution to this problem OR do I possible have another problem like somehow having slack in the throttle cable allowing it to slip off this plastic wheel?

Have you tried adjusting the cabe tensioner? You might just need a new cable. Is the plastic wheel worn out or broken at all? It's kind of hard to give a suggestion on something like that.
