I'm sure this is an easy problem for some but the rear drum brake on my 1998 DR200SE frequently sticks for a few seconds after I let off it. How should I approach fixing this? I really appreciate any advice people can give me. By the way, the wear indicators suggest that there is still plenty of life left in the brake shoes.

That actuating arm pin that goes through to the inside can get crusty rusty and cause it to stick. You have to remove the drum to get it off but thats no big deal.

Thanks for all the input. I fixed it yesterday. As suggested, the brake camshaft that connects on the outside to the brake cam lever and rotates on the inside to push the shoes up against the drum was bone dry. I greased it and the sticking seems to be gone. Will need to wait until the snow is gone in March to really try it out, but it seems OK with the tire spinning while the bike is on the stand.
You saved me some money on repair bills guys. Thanks.
