I have a CRF450R Y05 and installed a Hinson slipper clutch. The clutch pull is a tad stiff compare to my friends crf450R's. I called Hinson and they said to check the spring/washer and make sure it was centered - it is.
I checked all the clutch parts and all is moving very smoothly. I guess they use a still tension to maintain a good clutch plate engagement.
I lenthened the actuator arm by 10mm by having a welder extend the arms lengths- that helped by ~30%. I still want more. I also have the factory connection pro perch on and lubed the cable with graphite. Also the cable is a high end and new.
I don't want to spend $280 on a hydrolic clutch.
Any suggestions to help me out?
Thanks,
