Stock KDX Jetting

After searching for mechanical problems with my KDX I bought off the showroom Floor. I decided to crack into the jetting... Guess what I found inside my Stock '03 KDX 220.... I may remind you a 220, and not a 200...

I Pulled out a 160 main jet, and a 48 pilot.... I bought this bike off the showroom floor.... Even if they accidentally put a 35mm carb on at the factory, the jetting is still off... Anyone having low power problems of a bike this year or close, may want to take a peek and see whats really in there...

That's probably why it has Zerowheelie!

I just looked at Kawi, stock on the 220 is 145 main and a 42 pilot

Make sure you hold on tight! :aj:

But then again that's just gonna put you at stock jetting, which is usually very rich anyway. But it should run a hell of a lot better than that 160 main!

I was still blubbering with the 145 main...I ended up going to a 140, although the ideal spot is probably going to be a 142. I'm running the 45 pilot as well, with the stock needle in the middle (I think, I may have raised the clip one notch).
MODS - no airbox lid, PCII silencer w/ stock pipe.

When I had mine with a KG 35 pipe I had 42/145 R1173L #2 and A/s about 1.5 Never got a hcance to try the CEL needle. Now that I have another one for Jr I'll be messing with it with a stock pipe and airbox mod.

Where we will begin is exactly what I have listed above. But that R1173 needle is a touch lean at 1/2 throttle so I'll be looking into changin that if it needed on this bike.
