Call your State department of transportation and ask them. That is what I did when I converted mine. They will tell you exactly what is necessary.Once you know that information you can determine how difficult and costly it will be from a parts and installation perspective. Need more info before that question can really be answered.
I am in Ohio and the requirements are: left side mirror, license plate bracket with light, horn, and a headlight.
