stupid leak!

i have a 05 KTM 525 mxc and theres a engine oil leak that i have tried to fix three times already. the front sprocket seems to be throwing the oil everywhere. i just want to know where the leak is coming from its starting to piss me off! :bang:

Is it engine oil or chain lube? (You said it was coming from the front sprocket)

Engine - check the countershaft seal.

Chain - maybe look at another brand of chain lube...

Some aftermarket countershaft sprockets are just a smidge thinner than stock and will not put the required pressure on the countershaft seal. This will cause leaks. I solved it on my 200sx by putting an O-ring behind the sprocket.
