When I mounted my shock on I noticed it didn't match up exactly. On the linkage mount its fine but on the top frame mount it is all the way to one side so one side has 1-2mm of gap while the other side has none. Is this ok Or is something not right? It would seem that you would want either no gap or an equal gap on both sides. Thanks. If you need pics I can get them fast.

Hey MoO_coW,
Are you sure the spherical bearing in the top of the shock is installed properly and not worn?
There is a ring stopper on one side by the looks of the parts breakdown listed below. http://www.servicehonda.com/HARD%20PARTS/OFF%20ROAD/CR125%202000-2001/rear_shock_absorber.htm

This is for a '00 or '01 CR125 but I think yours is similar.
Maybe that gap is ok? Guess I should check mine also.

did you loose one of the dust seal/washers that goes on both sides of the bearing?
