In deep muddy water. The whole engine was full of water, including the tranny. We tried to start the bike afterwards, which in retrospect I think was a very bad idea. Cylinder walls had some minor streaking and possible scoring although I could not feel any with my finger. Piston rings were stuck in the grooves in several spots. Well anyway, we replaced the tranny oil, piston and rings and fired her up. It is running really good now, except for a little unusual engine noise. Took the head/expansion chamber off today and noticed some scoring on the new piston. My question is should we replace/reline the cylinder and piston or just run it and see what happens?Any opinions would be appreciated, thanks, John.
