I posted a couple weeks ago asking if anyone knew what would be needed to swap 03 forks onto a 96 yz125 well I found out myself the only mod that needs to be done is a adapter must be made to attach the caliper to the fork I am in the process of making it so when I'm done I will post the specs for anyone that cares to know. I rode the bike the first time this weekend and I was impressed, I kept the stock springs which caused the front end to ride to high so I turned the compession dampening 12 clicks out and moved the forks up in the clamps 2/10 inch and viola!!! the bike handles great I am a b class rider and I have always rocked in the whoops but now I can get further forward and twist the throttle abit more with no negative consequences. I have been riding the 96 for 3 years now and I must say the 03 forks feel like works suspension compared to the old stuff. I may just buy a new bike!!! I beat all the guys at my local track on my old bike I wonder what I could do on 250f :ride:
