Hi I just bought my son a suzuki jr50. It was used but is running great. My husband noticed the gear casing is completely empty. We have never had a bike and need to know what kind of oil and how much should we be adding. Do we add till its full to the top? It is sunday and wont let him ride till we find out. Please help

10w40 motor oil. DO NOT fill to the top. On the lower front part of the right side case, the fill amount might be cast in the cover. If not, in the same area there is a fill level hole with a bolt in it. You can easily tell which one it is because it's backed by a copper washer. Hold the bike level and add oil until it starts to come out of the hole. Replace the bolt and you're good to go.
