Is swapping a CR250r 2003 model for a yz 426 o1 model a good swap?..Both bikes have big dollars spent im not sure how reliable a 426 is? are there many issues with these bikes? cheers for the help.

I would NOT do it. The 426 is heavy, hard to start, and behind the new 450 in performance. Your current bike is probly better.

trading would be the best decision you ever made.

I say pull the trigger. Those two-stroke luddites don't know what they are talking about.

:fft: C'mon Pred, I don't even own a smoker. That behemoth isn't any better than the smoker he has.

Don't listen to him he's delerious. Keep the good bike!

Properly set up your cr is probly very close in performance. Unless the overall condition of the thumper is much better, I would stay away.

Just pull the trigger. The 426 is a beast, and will start every time on the first or second kick if you know what you're doing and keep it in a high state of tune.

Those other guys are just a bunch of girly man losers who don't have enough testicular fortitude to handle the mighty 426

Good for you Keith! You'll love the power and reliability of that YZ! I'm with Pred, those other guys are girly men....and I'd gladly challenge any of them to a 30 minute moto, whenever wherever! Bring your 2T! Matt
