swelling up fork seals with alcohol?

I read something i na magazine awile back that said somthing about if you put alcohol in with your fork oil it will swell up your fork seals and help seal them if they are leaking.... well my seals just started leakin and i was wondering if it was a okay thing to do i have a 2000 YZ 125, also what kind of alcohol? rubbing alcohol or some of grandpas caughsurup (jack daniels) ;) lol

that is a band aid and will never fix the problem of bad seals... But it might get you by a ride or two

in some cases it does work for quite a while a friend of mine used a table spoon in each fork of i tkink it was rubbing alcohol, it worked untill he sold the bike (5 months later)
