I have a Honda CRF 150F that's been a great bike but it's time to upgrade. Figuring out which bike to get is frustrating! I ride all woods, no moto and I need a short seat height - the 105 is a perfect fit. The 250X and WR250 are way too tall.

Everyone says the SX line is only for racing and will overheat if ridden on trails but a lot of people swear the 105 is a great trail bike. Any opinions on the sx105 greatly appreciated!!! (especially compared to the CRF150F)

That 105SX will be just fine, another option would be the new CRF150R.

i agree, but ive seen Rich's thread on the CRF150Rs maintenance, it aint pretty. plus, id rather ride a 85-KX100-105SX in the woods any day than a CRF150R. my brothers 85 runs very well in the woods and on MX tracks. the 105SX shouldnt be much different.

The 150R is very loud from what I'm told, but tons of power for sure. Overall opinion on it is that it's def an mx machine. Thanks for the input looks like the 105 is the way to go for me.
