I just installed a DF2 reed system, and could'nt tell it did anything......
I had planned on using the low tension setting (per CC), but when I opened the package. There was a note that said "do not adjust the reeds to low tension". I called their tech line, and the guy said "I like it better set on high tension". So.....

Can someone who has ran both the high and low settings please tell me the impact on performance. Thanks. Greg.

I'v run both and i think it is a matter of personal prefrence. I prefer the the extra up top from the high tension setting. Try them both and go with the one you like better.

Thanks for the input. Was there a significant difference in bottom end between the two settings? I do plan to try them both.

There was a note that said "do not adjust the reeds to low tension"

It actually says: :clue:

NOTICE!

All reed valves should remain set in the original high tension position.

Low tension settings will result in significantly reduced reed life.

My DFII is set on low.
Going riding with 'Carvr tomorrow on the Peak, to test it out!

...well, test that and some other goodies! :yeehaw:
