Hello,
This letter is mainly for Eric Gorr but i'm posting for all to see.
Eric,
I'm writing to you in reference to a lower end rebuild that I just completed. After reading your article on your web site I decided to do this job myself. I work on commercial jet aircraft as a mechanic so I really wasn't intimidated by the scope of this job,I guess it was just fear of the unknown. I bought a factory service manual before I even started,that was a $57 well spent. I would like to thank you for your article and it's step by step easy to read directions. Your tips on removing and installing the main bearings worked perfect,
the bearing "dropped" in so easy I was amazed. It's really cool to see someone in the industry that is willing to help vs. rip off every other mother and their brother. In the future ANY work *I.E. Big Bores,Porting ect. will be shipped to you for sure.
