Someone Posted....."i just got my new wiseco piston, and i did everything right on putting the piston on the connecting rod, but when i compressed the ring i couldnt get the cylinder head over the piston, actually i had to pound it on with a block of wood and a hammer, and there was some metal shavings on top of the piston that i wiped off.

is this normal for putting a new piston in??? should it be that hard to do???? it is standard bore(54mm) thanks!!!!"""

If you need more force during the cylinder installation process use a LaRgEr HamMeR or a large pry bar. Your looking for the MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE........ Don't worry it'll go! :uh:
