I'd hazard a guess it won't be too far behind the CRF450R as there is a huge market for these type of bikes at the moment!

Somebody asked the people at the Hughes/Honda truck (last weekend) if a CRF250 is in the works. They said, "Not as far as we know".

Well whatever Honda does, make it quick! My dad is in need of a 250 four stroke badly but is too short for a WR 250 or YZ 250 F. I need to work him harder to get him to go faster. LOL. I would like to see Honda get more into the high performance four strokes like Yamaha did with the YZF and WR. Maybe if I was really thinking, I would talk him into the Honda CRF450! He could go REALLY fast then!

In the new issue of MXA the cover story is BBR dropping a 250F motor into a tricked out CR 125... check it out. BBR's bike is 7 lbs. lighter than the YZ 250F, has a hydraulic clutch, and some other trick stuff... pretty neat article.

I think they said expect to see a real one in 2002... maybe??
