Could be but if you are good in welding or have connection with some it should possible to do that. I put a YZ250 engine '07 into a '08 RM frame. It was not too hard to do.
im really looking into it, cops are a pain in my area and im not even riding the thing i have no mso for it, its a 1985 and they are treating it as it was a 2011-12, so i found a frame with a clear certificate for real good money.
yes im a very good mechanic (not to boost myself), but my first dirt bike a rm 85 factory parts end to end was not running, not book no manual had it going in 7 days due to finding out it needed a piston and many other issues, long story short, ran like new when i was done. but i wanna do so bad, and i think i might.
