BLAST FROM THE PAST Darrell Shultz Northern California’s Darrell Shultz raced on the professional circuit for a meager 5-years (1977-1982). He was painted as a racer with incredible speed, though interrupted by a myriad of injuries. His nemesis growing up was Danny Chandler and much of his grit and wildness came with frequent duals in their local motocross events. Darrell started as a privateer racing Maico’s, got signed by Suzuki in 1979 and in two years his results were both stellar, and grim due to injury.
