How about using recycled materials and steel studs in new houses?.....It may cost a little more and ORKIN will go out of bussiness but on the plus side no more trees cut for wood products......
Not to mention the fact that steel production tends to be a wee bit harder on the environment than timber harvest. Besides since when is cutting trees a bad thing? They do grow back provided sustainabal forestry practices and common sense are used. Dont get the wrong idea. I am not one of those log it all people.
