I want my grandkids to be able to go for long singletrack rides in the forest and not come to a closed area every 1/4 mile.
Tis truly sad, the destruction of the fires, both here in AZ and elsewhere. But, as posted earlier, it's part of the natural cycle of things (does that sound like a line from the "Lion King"?).
Everything is shut down here for riding, except the MX tracks. We have desert, where you can't gather in two hours enough stuff to build a campfire but we're not allowed on it. Hmmmmm. Well, at least the quadders can't go out, either.
Whenever I see one of the snails when I'm riding, I always stop and contribute to his "natural wetland" enviroment, albeit the contribution is body temp and somewhat salty.
