Anybody put a fatty fmf pipe on there 01 300 mxc? Claims that it increases mid and low end. I was wondering if it is really noticable. What about any hp gains
I put a Gnarly on my 300EXC. It increased low and mid, left the top pretty much the same. I've no way to determine hp change.
Although, I've heard the "pros" prefer the Fatty on the 300. I'd think it gives more mid to top improvement rather than lower end gain.
The FMF pipe with the M-20 designation somewhere in the model number is a good lower-cost replacement for a dented stock pipe. The M-28 will hurt your performance over stock per a noted KTM tuner.
With FMF's current marketing strategy, it is hard to say WHAT they are calling this pipe and what they say it will do.
Personally I would not spend the bucks looking for a performance difference.
