IBWFO, I got carted off to the hospital in daze and confusion. It took me a couple of hours not to be confused. I still do not remember much of the day. They did a CAT scan a couple of times and that is where they saw the contusion on the brain.

You really did take a hit!
It has been since back in 86 since I had the bad one, sounds just like yours. I hit a tree on the old CR 500 5th grear wide open and luckily missed the tree with the body, but it threw me about 60 yards on my head.
I was told NOT to ride anymore (right). Those were my young testosterone days. Get well bud, and when you get a new helmet, get the best!

I had the best, a 500 dollar Shoei VFX-R. That is what I am getting. A plain white one off Ebay then getting it custom painted:) :) .

Cobrakid had 20 bleeding contusions ontop of the brain. That is why he was in a two week coma with brain swelling. Glad to hear you are getting better. Take it easy for a couple of weeks.

I only had one contusion and it was not bleeding. Glad to hear that Cobrakid is doing better and going home:)
